Responsibilities

The primary objective of the Financial Analyst is to provide key financial support to the Supply Chain organization, specifically within our DC operations.

  • Purchase and track inventory of goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors
  • Work closely with operations in understanding needs of the organization
  • Maintain cost logs to track expenses for various areas
  • Manage expense budgeting and forecasts
  • Create complex budget models that incorporate volumes and key variables
  • Develop cost models to generate key metrics and calculated financial impact
  • Create and publish financial and operational KPI reporting
  • Meet with business partners and leadership on a routine basis to provide financial and operational reporting support and present analysis
  • Assist with the Month-end close process
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. /B.S.) from four-year college or university
  • One to three years of related experience in Financial/Accounting/Procurement role
  • Experience in Supply Chain Finance is preferred, but not a requirement
  • Must have experience in Microsoft Office; including Outlook, PowerPoint and strong Excel skills
  • Experience with Peoplesoft, Power BI, SAP/BPC and Microsoft Access a plus
  • Proven ability to compile and analyze complex variables and large amount of data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple levels of a business organization while developing partnerships through collaboration
  • High attention to detail; ability to drive towards high quality, accurate and timely results
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment
