Responsibilities

Summary:

The primary objective of the Financial Analyst is to provide Financial forecasting and analytical support to the Supply Chain organization.  This is accomplished through generating and analyzing financial reports that will help drive decisions.  The candidate will have Accounting background with strong analytical skills.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for expense budgeting and forecasts
  • Provide analytics on current & past operations, variance, trends & cost, and forecasting future financial or budgetary position
  • Create custom financial reports and KPI’s that incorporates production metrics and analysis
  • Calculate cost metrics and the key drivers
  • Generate and enhance forecasts, forecast comparisons and forecast accuracy scorecard reporting, to be published and reviewed on a weekly and monthly basis to the end Business users across Supply Chain.
  • Compile complex and large data, conduct exploratory analysis, and analyze results to provide actionable recommendations for Supply Chain ad hoc requests
  • Utilize business knowledge and visual presentation skills to develop and communicate technical findings and/or forecasting solutions to Business Users in an effective forum that allows all parties involved to clearly understand how to leverage insights as it relates to their respective businesses
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed 

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) or equivalent
  • Must have 1-3 years Operations/ Distribution experience
  • High level analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to multi task and deal with ambiguity
  • Independent decision making ability
  • Experience in Supply Chain is a plus

Computer Skills:                              

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software and an advanced knowledge of Excel software that includes the use and creation of pivot tables and vlookups. Basic knowledge of Power BI.

  • Proven ability to compile and analyze complex variables and large amount of data using statistical software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple levels of a business organization
