Responsibilities

This position will support the development and enhancement of HRIS systems to meet the needs of users and support the achievement of strategic business goals, including but not limited to, identifying improvements to increase efficiencies, as well as supporting the implementation and maintenance of new systems, and troubleshooting and resolving issues with existing systems. Responsible for analyzing process design and workflow improvements to leverage the return on technological capabilities. Responsible for data analysis and ad hoc report writing as well as support of existing reports and custom databases.

  • Assist in the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades or enhancements. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to coordinate application of upgrade or fixes. Maintain HRIS system tables. Document process and results.
  • Provide support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities including data entry of weekly changes to HRIS; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Monitor systems, identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities. Compare data from different sources to draw conclusions and ensure the system is properly recording specific metrics.
  • Assist with writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries for the Home Office, Stores and Distribution Center utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Assist with minimum wage, federal and state filing compliance.
  • Provide relevant production support, which includes researching and resolving problems. This duty may also include performing system testing for updates.
  • Maintains, uses, and participates in compensation survey, job market analysis and benchmarking/job matching.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with a strong analytical background.; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of HR processes and data, HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools.
  • Experience with reporting applications including ADPR, and Microsoft Access required.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong process management, project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing and able to adjust to multiple tasks and demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA is a plus.
  • Experience with ADP Enterprise and ADP reporting systems.
  • Compensation and Benefits experience is a plus.
