Responsibilities
This position is responsible for analyzing, recommending and maintaining optimal store matrix for designated areas. Other responsibilities include merchandise distribution to stores, serving as the point person for designated store groups and supporting the stores requests and needs.
- Analyzes, recommends and maintains optimal store inventory levels. Coordinates and executes field input and requests
- Assists merchant team in managing assortments
- Participates in assortment planning process and makes recommendations to support allocation strategies. Provides analysis and research to support the creation of the assortment and buy plans
- Guides distribution strategies to optimally incorporate store demographics into the assortment and allocation processes
- Reviews case packs, order flow recommendations and store feedback related to assortment
- Analyzes store-level inventory productivity and makes adjustment to business trends
- Purchase order management responsibilities including the creation, communication and execution of purchase orders utilizing internal systems as well as vendor support
- Leads the tracking and coordination with the buying team and vendors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or one to two year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs to include Word and Excel
