POSITION SUMMARY :This position is responsible for providing administrative support for all Windows-based servers and other OS based servers as needed.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities 


  • Provide second level network support to internal IT groups (Front Office/Desktop Team & AppDev).

  • Work with other Server Admins, Network Engineers & Security personnel in order to support the users at all sites.

  • Support of data backup infrastructure

  • Create/Manage user accounts, groups and Active Directory items.

  • Work with other members of the Network team in upgrading and maintaining enterprise infrastructure, documentation, and administering systems/network architecture, access, security and connectivity.

  • Work with Applications, Hardware and Helpdesk teams in rolling out projects and provide support as needed.

  • Work on special projects that come up or as needed.

  • Technical training and/or experience equivalent to a four-year B.S. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or A.S. Degree and 3 years' experience; or 5 years related experience. MS Certifications or related industry certification will be applied to education requirement.

  • Working knowledge of VPN technology is required.

  • Working knowledge of wireless technology is required

  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, SMTP and DNS protocols, internet connectivity, computer troubleshooting, and various applications

  • Multi-task across a variety of technical issues  

  • Communication skills and patience to handle a variety of customer personalities.

  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Microsoft Server 2008, 2012 & 2016 Troubleshooting and Administration experience

  • Microsoft Exchange 2010 Troubleshooting and Administration experience

  • Active Directory Administration and Group Policy Management experience

  • Understanding of VoIP technology and how it interacts with Data networks.

  • Microsoft Certifications are preferred but not required.

  • Experience with PCI requirements in a retail environment is preferred but not required
