POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the Spirit E-Commerce website and online brand thru developing, managing and executing appropriate navigation, category management, user experience, product assortment, visual assets and partnership with Spirit merchandise teams.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

•   Responsible for the Spirit website’s branding experience, messaging, site features, information architecture and taxonomy.

•   Oversee the development and maintenance of website so that the consumer is able to effortlessly navigate thru the website features and functionality to create a seamless user experience.

•   Ensure business requirements are developed and communicate with webmaster, web developer or designers. 

•   Use site metrics tools to track site traffic, performance, and page views then produce reports to react to business needs.

In addition, develop best practices for site navigation and category nomenclature. Continually review and analyze item placement within navigation for best performance. Look for opportunities to develop best practices for the item set up and management within e-commerce LOB.

In conjunction with Creative team, develop and execute strategy for updated visual asset management including developing new category level visual standards and best practice for obtaining assets.    

In working with the buying teams, perform regular analysis of business for item and/or category opportunities including the growth of online only items and categories. Coordinate with merchants toliquidate poor performing items. Perform regular analysis and review of competitor websites and assortments including navigation best practices.   

Partner with the E-Commerce Marketing team to develop and execute brand appropriate promotional campaigns. Review promotional results along with Marketing team to continually tweak campaigns for best performance and return on investment. Help manage promotional calendar. Ensure timely execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities through all online channels.

In conjunction with Operations team, perform regular review of search result metrics to maximize on site conversion.  

Partner with E-Commerce Operations team to continually perform user experience exercises to make sure customer conversion is maximized.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.  This includes Microsoft programs such as Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with web analytics tools (Omniture, CoreMetrics, Visual Sciences, HTML, and Social Media).

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to see the big picture.
  • Self starter with the ability to work both independently and as team member.
