Job Description

Summary: This position is responsible for supporting the Spirit Operations, Consignment and Real Estate areas through the analysis, reporting and tracking of the budgeting, payroll and purchasing processes while developing data to support metrics. Responsibilities:

  • Recognize trends and patterns; make recommendations based on analysis.
  • Evaluate and analyze data from expenses to selling productivity and providing summaries to improve.
  • Assist in determining areas of financial opportunity through evaluating expense structure such as payroll.
  • Responsible for extraction of company data through Virtual Premise and crediting ad hoc analysis and reports.
  • Extract U.S. Census data and develop demographic variables for use in sales forecasting and site selection; develop model to forecast the cannibalization of stores.
  • Prepare mapping reports and competitor analysis using multiple data sources.
  • Work with real estate team and any outside research companies to help develop a working real estate modeling system and analytical dashboard by market based on: sales and rent history, co-tenancy, competitive density, demographics, psychographics & customer data.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; and/or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software. This includes Microsoft Office programs, specifically an intermediate Excel and Access skill level.
  • Must be a team player with exceptional interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work under time constraints, set priorities and handle heavy workloads while demonstrating commitment and urgency.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent analytical and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task with rapid turnaround.
  • Proven track record in working with P&L information as well as budgeting processes.
