Responsibilities
As a Data Governance Analyst Intern, you will play a key role in supporting data enablement by helping standardize data processes and improve usability of governance tools and systems.
- Create visual reports and executive-ready dashboards to highlight data quality trends and governance progress
- Documente data workflows, definitions, and standards to improve system usability and promote consistency
- Contribute to internal communications and training materials to boost enterprise awareness of data practices
- Support cross-functional collaboration to increase business engagement in data governance beyond analyst roles
- Help develop and maintain business glossaries and reference materials for greater data transparency
Qualifications
- Available to work 30 hours per week while being on-site a minimum of 2 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday)
- Completion of junior year preferred and must be enrolled in college for the upcoming semester; graduate students are also encouraged to apply
- Commutable distance to our home office in Egg Harbor Township, NJ
- A solid grasp of fundamental data concepts, including data types, data quality, data lifecycle, data governance principles, is recommended
- Proficiency in data literacy, interpretation, and problem-solving is essential to comprehend complex data structures, identify patterns, and derive insights from data
- Foundational knowledge of database relationships, Excel, SharePoint, and MS applications
- Enrollment in college for the upcoming semester
The pay range reflects the potential rate for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.
