Responsibilities
As an IT Retail Development Intern, you will contribute to the development of a web-based store opening simulation tool and the modernization of a legacy bank deposit application, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Develop a web-based application to simulate the store opening process (SOLVE), supporting internal training and planning efforts
Re-engineer an existing bank deposit application by migrating it to a modern technology stack, improving performance, maintainability, and user experience
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement features
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables
Qualifications
- Available to work 30 hours per week while being on-site a minimum of 2 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday)
- Completion of junior year preferred and must be enrolled in college for the upcoming semester; graduate students are also encouraged to apply
- Commutable distance to our home office in Egg Harbor Township, NJ
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Familiarity with web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks)
Basic understanding of backend development and application architecture
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and collaboration skills
The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.
