Responsibilities
The Product Manager is responsibile for the comprehensive management of the product development lifecycle. This includes coordination of sample tracking, cost analysis and negotiation, and ensuring timely internal and external communications. The successful candidate will facilitate seamless progression of each product from conception to market, adhering to quality standards, budget constraints, and tight schedules.
- Oversee the product development cycle, ensuring awareness of the status of each style at every stage
- Manage day-to-day vendor relations to guarantee product quality, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency, while ensuring timely and clear communication
- Facilitate seamless coordination between internal teams, such as Merchandising, Quality Assurance, Customs, Tech Design, and Product Development Design, as well as external partners, ensuring continuity throughout the product lifecycle and alignment with the corporate calendar
- Collaborate with Costume Designers to evaluate each costume and consolidate feedback for the vendors
- Manage the sampling process from prototype to pre-production; ensure WIP trackers are updated with latest information, costing, and status dates
- Collaborate with the licensing team to meet product deadlines and approval processes for licensed merchandise
- Analyze in-season sales data and share insights for product optimization
- Participate in market trend research and competitive shopping to enhance market knowledge
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management to include final samples and cost evaluations for approval
- Lead and mentor a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of retail experience in a corporate setting
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, to include Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong sense of urgency, drive and passion to take ownership of all projects with strong written and verbal communication, analytical and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills and must be detailed oriented, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under tight deadlines
- Demonstrated leadership capability with prior management experience, fostering team engagement and performance
- General knowledge of retail math
The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.

$85,000 - $100,000
