Responsibilities
This position is responsible for designing costumes and accessories for proprietary merchandise.
- Assist in the creation and development of children, tween and adult costumes and accessories
- Illustrate, spec and provide clear direction to overseas vendors
- Organize fabric & trim libraries, prepare sample submissions for licensors, and assist with preparation for product review meetings
- Preform minor alterations on samples as needed
- Create innovative new products through collaboration
Qualifications
- Degree in Apparel Design & Production or Costume Design from two or four-year college or university; and 3 - 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as Design Programs, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong communication skills
- Creative self-starter with a passion for Halloween and pop culture
- Sewing/Draping skills a plus
The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.
Pay Range
$65,000 - $75,000
