Responsibilities

As a Store Systems Technical Writing Intern, you will support the Store Systems Specialists by learning and documenting systems used in Spencers and Spirit Halloween stores. The role provides hands-on experience with store's administrative systems, scheduling & payroll software, operational & reporting systems, and technical equipment. You'll be given the opportunity to demonstrate, improve, and assess technical writing skills, as well as produce critical detailed documentation for stores' technical knowledge bases.

• Technical writing
• System Testing
• Coordinating with Developers & Operations teams for documentation accuracy
• Evaluating Store System Knowledge Base Needs

Qualifications

• Available to work 30 hours per week while being on-site a minimum of 2 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday)
• Completion of  junior year preferred and must be enrolled in college for the upcoming semester; graduate students are also encouraged to apply
• Commutable distance to our Store Systems Support Center in Egg Harbor Township, NJ
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent technical writing skills & attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office & Adobe Acrobat

The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.
