Responsibilities
As an Ecommerce Development Java Intern, you will play a hands-on role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring, and RESTful services, while contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle including coding, testing, debugging, production support, and user training.
- Provides user training and post implementation support as necessary
- Be a hands on Developer of a high performance development team
- Provides production support and Maintenance of existing sites and supporting applications
- Ensure quality solutions are built and tested
- Provide feedback regarding technical requirements, timelines and software concerns
Qualifications
- Available to work 30 hours per week while being on-site a minimum of 2 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday)
- Completion of junior year preferred and must be enrolled in college for the upcoming semester; graduate students are also encouraged to apply
- Commutable distance to our home office in Egg Harbor Township, NJ
- Interest in researching new technologies and learning new coding languages as needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Proficient in object-oriented design and programming
- Experience with Core Java / J2EE backend development
- Programming expertise in Java, Multi-threading and XML technologies
- Excellent team player with good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Preferred to have experience with Git
The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.

$20.00 per hour
