    Summary:  

    •         Responsible for understanding, documenting, and designing systems, system interfaces, and configurations.

    •         Partner with Supply Chain team to design and implement global integrated Supply Chain solutions.

    •         Manage internal and external vendors.

    •         Help to develop and document the Supply Chain roadmap.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proven ability to work with technology teams, understanding architecture, and ability to do interface mapping.
  • Great communication skills and ability to work cross functionally.
  • Address issues with root cause, corrective action, and implement long term solutions.
  • Lead/participate in system implementation projects (requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution).        
  • Ability to prioritize against competing priorities.
  • Detailed knowledge of Supply Chain Processes and systems background related to supply chain.
  • Understanding of and experience in Logistics and the ability to interface with the Spencer’s Logistics team.
  • Perform complex technical systems analysis.  Evaluate systems, programming requirements and processes for new systems, enhancements and maintenance to existing systems. Research alternative approaches to solving complex business systems issues.
  • Commitment to collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
  • Clear understanding of software development lifecycle and application support, project management, working knowledge of networking and systems design.
  • Excellent management skills in the design, testing and implementation of Supply Chain Solutions.
  •  Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes and understand how it needs to support the business in achieving revenue and growth.
  • Develop a firm knowledge of application systems, interfaces, and data relationships.
  • Experience with WMS and the Retail environment are a plus.

  • Ability to work well independently and accomplish goals with little or no supervision, or as part of a team as a contributor or team lead.
  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of Supply Chain and Logistics experience.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.  This includes Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Visio.
  •  Experience with software integration.
  • Experience with data base query tools (MS SQL, etc).
