As the WMS Engineer, this role's key goal is to provide support of our Corporate WMS systems and the integration to other enterprise systems. This role will be a key member of the implementation team and the subject matter expert in partnership with other team members regarding supply chain systems and processes.

A successful candidate will have dedicated experience supporting Korber/Highjump and packaged applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the WA tool set in making changes to screens and reports
  • Create or modify reports using SQL Server Reporting Service or other tools as necessary
  • Provide technical support of Korber/Highjump and integration interfaces to other enterprise systems
  • Gain an understanding of the business processes, work flows, and data
  • Establish close partnership with the business and warehouse operations
  • Work with project managers during scoping and requirements sessions, communicate needs, status updates, and timelines during implementation
  • Gather requirements, design, and deploy functionality to meet business requirements
  • Assist in technical specifications and other deliverable documents
  • Develop test cases and plans to complete the unit testing
  • Provide on-call support for production WM applications
  • Develop a deep understanding of WM applications and integration and bring issues to resolution
  • Work with the DBA on monitoring WM application performance and improve system performance where necessary
  • Configure application for best performance
  • Plan for and apply WM application software patches
  • Assist in development of training plan and work instructions
  • Assist in training of all team members utilizing the WM
  • Manage security roles within WM


  • You have intermediate to advanced configuration or programming experience in SQL / Oracle queries and stored procedures
  • You have experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) expertise in Körber (HighJump), Blue Yonder (RedPrairie/JDA), Manhattan Associates, SAP- WM, Oracle-WM, Accellos, Infor, etc.
  • You have labeling (Bartender or Loftware) experience
  • You have reporting experience (Cognos, Business Objects, SSRS)
  • You have knowledge of barcode scanning and RF hardware (Intermec, LXE, Motorola, Symbol) including Georgia Softworks
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with ability to effectively communicate well with all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 3 to 5 years' experience supporting WM
